The slagging tester is an instrument developed according to the technical requirements specified in GB1572-89 "Methods for Determining Coal Slag". It can directly determine the degree of slagging difficulty of coal during gasification or combustion process. Applied to laboratories in coal, metallurgy, power and other departments, it is a unit that uses coal as fuel. If there is a boiler unit, the slagging property can be measured in advance to guide the selection of decayed coal types and prevent slagging.
Working principle
Make coal into a sample with a particle size of 3-6mm, load it into the gasification chamber of the instrument, ignite it with charcoal of the same particle size, and gasify or burn it under a certain amount of air blowing intensity. After the sample is burned out, stop the air blowing, cool it down, take out the charcoal residue and weigh it. The percentage of 6mm charcoal residue weight to charcoal residue is the slagging rate, which is used to evaluate the slagging property of coal
